The purpose of having the Cannes Film Festival has finally been fulfilled, now that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has walked the red carpet.
Theres something that happens to Aishwarya at Cannes. Guess its all that style floating in the air which makes her want to experiment more with her look. Sometimes it works and other times it just bombs.
For this Cannes outing, thus far, shes been rocking it.
Before she hit the red carpet, Aishwarya first attended a panel discussion on gender equality. She wore a lovely Sabyasachi floral jumpsuit from his latest collection. Bold lips, which have sort of become her signature, and soft hair completed the look. Who can fault a look this perfect?
For her red carpet gig, she chose a green Elie Saab gown. Elie Saab has mostly held her in good stead and it makes perfect sense of go back to the designer.
The colour, was an unlikely choice for the red carpet and thats exactly why it caught the eye. Plus its Aishwarya so how can you not look at her.
And is that a hint of leg I detect through the sheer skirt of the gown!? Is Aishwarya trying to be flirty with her style? Well, Im sold. Im so sold
Also, can we just take a minute to acknowledge her stunning make-up? That bold lip and the blue-green eye pencil went so well with the gown.
Even Aishwaryas daughter Aaradhya could not take her eyes off her stunning mommy.
But if there was one mistake that Aishwarya made, it was posing for a selfie with Eva Longoria. And thats because Cannes has banned selfies on the red carpet. But Im guessing that when you look this stunning you want to capture every minute.
